Telecoms System Upgrade

The SMART Patient Focus Public Involvement Group have been working with the NHS Lothian Telecoms Team and BT to upgrade our telephone system to improve user experience when contacting the SMART Centre. All existing telephone lines will be re-routed to an automated system where callers will be able to select an option for the service they wish to contact. It is planned for the new system to go live from 26 June 2024.
