IT System Issue – Update

Further to the notice on Friday 14 August, as of yesterday mid-morning the IT System used by several SMART Services become available again but there had been some minor issues getting all staff access to the system. This has impacted the following services:

• Wheelchair and Seating
• Prosthetics
• Environment Control

The data entered into the system on Thursday, 13^th August 2026 is unavailable. If you contacted one of the above services on that day please contact the Team on 0131 537 9177 and select the option for the service you wish to speak to ensure that we have all the information we require to progress your case.

There may be minor impact on the following services:

• Orthotics
• Gait Lab
• Custom Design
• Disabled Living Centre
