Astley Ainslie Hospital Dining Room Closing

The only Dining Room on the Astley Ainslie Hospital site will close permenently to both staff, patients and visitors on Friday 28th August.

Within the SMART Centre, the snacks and cold drinks vending machine and a hot drinks vending machine will still be available in the reception area, along with a free drinking water fountain. The vending machine in the corridor outside the Dining Room will also remain in place. Please note though, that these are stocked and maintained by an external contractor and we can not guarentee that these will be fully stocked with snacks and drinks.

To be on the safe side, if you are attending an appointment or visiting the SMART Centre, we recommend that you bring food and drinks with you. This is especially important if you have specific dietery or health requirements or are relying on someone else to drop off or pick you up and may find that you are here for longer, or have a longer journey, than expected.
