SMART Patient Focus and Public Involvement Group

The SMART Patient Focus Public Involvement (PFPI) Group was established to provide the opportunity for our patients and users of SMART Services to contribute to the development of services.

The key objectives and scope of the SMART PFPI Group are as follows:

  • To develop dialogue between service users and carers and other stakeholders to help foster good communications.
  • To participate and contribute to the development of SMART Services through service redesign and future development and ensure that the views of service users are fed into the process.
  • To oversee PFPI across SMART Services.
  • To provide a forum for strategic development in relation to future service delivery.
  • Communication with different agencies i.e. other patient groups, charities and third sector organisations.

If you are interested in the work of the group or would like further information on how to join please contact Les Malone, Quality and Performance Manager on Tel. 0131 537 9436. Alternatively you can use the Feedback Form to find out more information or to send us your views, comments or suggestions.
