Wheelchair and Seating Services – Communication Brief
There have been a number of staff changes and retirals over the past 12 months across both the Adult and Children’s Wheelchair Services. This has included clinical staff and more recently the Technical staff who work within the SMART Rehabilitation Workshop. The Service is currently recruiting to vacancies within the SMART Rehabilitation Workshop which should be filled over the next few months. Once new staff have been appointed and are in post it is likely that they will require a period of training which will take several months depending on the level and type of experience they have. In the meantime, the service is using all available resources to minimise any disruption and to continue providing a level of service to our patients. The service will continue to prioritise work based on individual clinical needs. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Your understanding and patience is greatly appreciated.
